BZHair Beauty LLC

The studio floor and the colour room

Six services, run from one careful BAY

BZHair Beauty LLC works from a single wash bay at the back of the house on 7615 W Jefferson Rd, Magna - 84044-3307, United States (US). Every service on this page begins at the same basin, passes the same mixing shelf, and ends at the same foil rack, which keeps the standard steady from the first appointment of the week to the last. The six stations in detail

Each station below is a full service, not an add-on. The letters are the same irregular marks used on the shelf in the studio, so a guest can point at a bowl and know exactly which service it belongs to.

B

Precision Cuts

A precision cut at BZHair Beauty LLC is built in three passes. The first pass is dry, on the chair, where we read the natural fall of the hair and set the perimeter. The second pass is wet, at the basin, where the sections are checked against the neckline and the crown with the head reclined. The third pass is dry again, with a small amount of tension so the shape holds after the first wash at home.

We cut for the growth pattern rather than against it, which is why a cut here often lasts six to eight weeks before the line starts to soften. Curls are cut dry and in their own shape, never stretched straight and then shortened. Straight hair is cut with a light point at the ends so the weight sits where it belongs, and fine hair keeps a blunt interior line for body. If you want a dramatic change, the consultation takes the first twenty minutes of the visit and nothing is cut until the plan is clear.

Z

Color and Foil Work

Colour is weighed on the mixing shelf in front of the guest, bowl by bowl, with the swatch fan open to the shades under discussion. Foil is folded by hand at the rack and carried to the chair in thin sheets, because a heavy sheet slips and a slipped sheet leaves a line. We build depth first, then light, and we always leave one strand of the natural tone untouched as a reference point for future visits.

Lightening services are booked with enough time for a patch test at least forty eight hours in advance. Gloss, toner and root shadow are treated as separate decisions, each with its own bowl, so a guest can stop after the lift and still leave with a finished result. Double process work, balayage style freehand work and full foil work all follow the same rule: the colour is checked under the studio lamp before it is rinsed, and again at the rack after the foil comes off.

H

Deep Treatments

Deep treatment begins at the basin, with warm water and a deliberate opening of the cuticle. We work the mask in section by section, from the mid length down, and keep it off the scalp unless the scalp is dry enough to need it. The hair then rests under a warm towel rather than a hard timer, so the product is judged by feel and not by the clock.

Bond building treatments, moisture masks and protein rebuilders are chosen by porosity, not by brand loyalty. Hair that has been lightened repeatedly usually needs bond work first and moisture second, while hair that has been heat styled needs the reverse. We finish with a cool rinse to close the cuticle and a light leave in that does not weigh the root down. Treatments can be booked on their own or added to any colour appointment, and a course of three visits is often the honest recommendation for hair in real trouble.

K

Blowout and Styling

A blowout at the studio is a finish rather than a rescue. We set the root direction at the basin, dry toward that direction, and build the shape in two passes with a round brush and a cool shot. The result should hold through a Utah afternoon without a second layer of product, and it should still look deliberate on the second day.

Styling covers smooth finishes, soft waves, a defined curl pattern and simple updos. We use heat protection on every head and we keep the iron temperature matched to the hair type, which for fine hair is lower than most guests expect. Iron work is finished at the rack, where the light falls evenly and we can see the shape from the back. If you are going to an event, book the style for the morning of the event, not the day before, so the shape is fresh when it counts.

R

Scalp Care Rituals

The scalp gets its own chair time at BZHair Beauty LLC, separate from the hair. We read the scalp under the amber lamp, note any redness, flaking or tightness, and choose a tonic or a clay preparation to match. The ritual is worked in at the basin with slow water and a soft brush, and it finishes with a cool rinse that is longer than a standard wash.

This service is a comfort and grooming ritual, not a medical treatment. If the scalp shows something that needs a doctor, we say so plainly and adjust the service to something gentle in the meantime. Regular guests often book a scalp ritual every four to six weeks, especially in winter when the air is dry and the indoor heating runs all day. The ritual pairs well with a deep treatment, but it is also a complete service on its own for anyone who simply wants an hour of quiet at the basin.

M

Bridal and Event Hair

Event work is booked as a rehearsal, never a surprise. We build the shape once in the studio, photograph it from four angles, and write a short note card that lists the products, the pin placement and the order of the steps. On the morning that matters, the shape is repeated from that card, which means the result does not depend on memory or on the mood of the room.

Bridal bookings usually include a trial six to eight weeks before the date and a final check two weeks before, with a trim if the ends need it. We work with veils, combs, fresh flowers and simple pins, and we always build the anchor points first so the style survives a long day and a lot of hugging. Travel to a venue can be arranged within the Salt Lake valley when the schedule allows, and the studio is always available as a quiet place to get ready before the drive.

BZHair Beauty LLC keeps the steamer warm through the winter months so treatment sessions can run in longer blocks without a queue at the basin.

How a visit runs, step by step

The order below is the same for a trim and for a full colour correction. It is the reason the studio can promise a calm room even on a busy Saturday.

One: the shelf conversation

You arrive and sit at the shelf, not the chair. The swatch fan is open, the note card from any previous visit is on the board, and the plan is written down before anything is mixed. We talk about the last cut, the last colour, the water at home and the amount of time you actually want to spend on styling on a weekday.

This step usually takes ten to fifteen minutes and it decides everything that follows. If the plan needs a patch test or a two visit path, it is agreed here, not discovered halfway through the service.

Two: the basin

Every service passes through the basin. The head reclines onto a neck rest, the water is brought to temperature before it touches the scalp, and the wash is done in sections with a slow rhythm. Colour that needs rinsing is rinsed here, with the foil removed at the rack first so the sheets can be read one at a time.

The basin is the quietest part of the visit and we protect that quiet. No phone calls at the shelf while a guest is reclined, no overlapping bookings at the wash bay.

Three: the finish and the card

Back at the chair, the cut or the style is finished dry, and the result is checked from the front and the back under the lamp. Before you leave, the note card is updated with the shades, the timing and anything that should change next time, and a copy of the studio contact details goes home with you. That card is the reason a repeat visit can start from a known place instead of a guess.

What to know before booking

A few practical notes that keep the shelf orderly.

Consultations

Consultations are free and take about twenty minutes. Colour corrections may need a paid test strand before a full booking is confirmed.

Timing

Colour services can run from ninety minutes to four hours depending on the lift. We quote a window, not a promise of a quick exit.

Cancellations

Life happens. Please give at least twenty four hours so the basin can be offered to someone else on the waiting list.

Products at home

We send home only what the hair actually needs, and we write the routine on the card so it is not forgotten by the next morning.
