Precision Cuts
We cut dry first, then wet, then dry again, so the shape you leave with is the shape that behaves at home. Every section is checked against the neckline and the crown before the blade touches the perimeter.
Precision Cuts detailMagna studio · colour and wash since the first basin
BZHair Beauty LLC is a small colour studio and wash bay tucked into the back of house at 7615 W Jefferson Rd, Magna - 84044-3307, United States (US). We mix on a shelf, fold foil by hand, and wash every head at a reclined basin with a neck rest instead of a rushed sink. The work is slow on purpose. Read the full service list
Each station holds its own bowl, its own sheet of foil and its own set of rules. Nothing here is a package deal, because no two heads of hair ever ask for the same thing. The numbers on the shelf are letters, and the letters are deliberately out of order.
We cut dry first, then wet, then dry again, so the shape you leave with is the shape that behaves at home. Every section is checked against the neckline and the crown before the blade touches the perimeter.
Precision Cuts detailFoil is folded by hand at the rack and carried to the chair in weightless sheets. We build depth first, then light, and we always leave a strand of your own tone untouched as a reference.
Color and Foil Work detailTreatment begins at the basin, under warm water, with the cuticle opened on purpose. We work the mask in section by section and let it sit under a warm towel rather than a timer.
Deep Treatments detailA blowout here is a finish, not a rescue. We set the root direction at the basin and dry toward it, which means the style holds through a Utah afternoon without a second layer of product.
Blowout and Styling detailThe scalp gets its own chair time, separate from the hair. We read the scalp under the lamp, choose a tonic, and work it in at the basin with slow water and no shortcuts.
Scalp Care Rituals detailEvent work is booked as a rehearsal, not a surprise. We build the shape once in the studio, photograph it from four angles, then repeat it on the morning that matters.
Bridal and Event Hair detailBZHair Beauty LLC opens its winter treatment calendar, with deep treatment and scalp ritual sessions reserved in longer blocks so the basin is never rushed.
The studio runs one guest at a time on the basin and two at the shelf, which is the only way the colour stays honest. Walk in before noon and you will usually find the foil rack half full and the steamer already warm.
Every appointment that involves colour starts at the basin, not the chair. A reclined wash with a proper neck rest takes the tension out of the scalp before the first product goes on, and it gives us a clean read of porosity under running water. Guests who arrive with dry, styled hair are always surprised by how much the wash changes the plan for the better.
We use cool water for the final rinse and a folded towel from the stack at the door, warmed on the shelf rather than in a dryer. It sounds like a small thing. It is the difference between a service that feels clinical and one that feels like a studio.
Colour is weighed on the shelf in front of you, bowl by bowl, with the swatch fan open to the shade we agreed on. Nothing is mixed in a back room and brought out already decided. If the bowl looks wrong under the studio lamp, we stop and remix, and that pause is built into the booking.
The shelf follows the same order every time: bowl, brush, foil, then the fan, then the note card that goes home with you. That card is why a repeat visit can pick up exactly where the last one ended.
Foil comes off at the rack, sheet by sheet, and each one is read before the next is lifted. We check the lift at the root, the tone through the mid length and the softness at the end, then decide whether the last fifteen minutes go to a toner, a treatment or simply a cool rinse. The finish is never an afterthought bolted onto the booking.
Small rules we keep in view because they keep the work honest.
We do not double book the wash bay. The basin is the quietest part of the service and it stays that way, even on a Saturday.
Any first-time lightening service gets a patch test at least forty eight hours ahead, no exceptions and no waivers at the door.
If a request would damage the hair beyond what we can repair in one sitting, we say so and offer a two-visit path instead of a rushed result.
Towels are folded at the door every morning. It is a small ritual that sets the tone for the whole day in the bay.
The studio sits inside the back of house at BZHair Beauty LLC, a short drive from the Jefferson Road corridor. Parking is on the north side and the bay door is the plain one with the copper handle.
